Park Seoyeon’s work is the act of tracing gyeol — the grain. Within the surface of hanji, color accumulates and settles, leaving the faintest threads of texture; in the breath between each layer, time and light find their place to rest.

That stillness shapes the emotional register of her work. Where color emerges, how far it flows, where it finally pauses — at that moment of arrest, the artist’s body, too, comes briefly to a halt.
